'The Grand Budapest Hotel'

UPDATE: Check out 10 new images from Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel." Plus, watch the trailer, below.

EARLIER: On the heels of the film's poster and announced release date (March 7, 2014), the first trailer for Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapest Hotel" has arrived. Check it out, below.

Ralph Fiennes stars as Gustave H., the longtime concierge of the eponymous hotel between the wars. A valuable Renaissance painting, titled "Boy with Apple," has been bequeathed to Gustave, which kick-starts an apparent chase and all sorts of other Andersonian shenanigans.

Also starring are -- deep breath -- Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Owen Wilson, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, Léa Seydoux, Saoirse Ronan, Tom Wilkinson, F. Murray Abraham, and Jude Law.

One thing is clear from this trailer - Wes Anderson still hasn't matured as a filmmaker.........

It's clear that he is out of ideas, and constructs grand opera-houses of movies, but with nothing in them.

should we be reading into the release date at all? it seems weird that a movie from a filmmaker coming off one of the biggest hits of his career (especially b.o.) and with such a huge talented cast is stuck in the beginning of march....is this a bad omen?
