Gravitas Expanding Release for Aaron Rottinghaus' 'Apart' via Tugg

Gravitas Ventures will use on-demand enabler Tugg to expand the current theatrical and VOD run of Aaron Rottinghaus' psychological thriller "Apart." With Tugg, moviegoers in Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Seattle will be able to bring "Apart" to their theaters by signing up for it via Tugg's web platform. "Apart" was Rottinghaus' debut; it premiered at SXSW in 2011.

APART is the story of star crossed lovers plagued by a psychological disorder known as folie a deux, aka, madness of two.  It is the dynamic debut of director Aaron Rottinghaus. Inspired by true events, the film stars Olesya Rulin from the High School Musical franchise, award winning veterans Joey Lauren Adams, Bruce McGill, Michael Bowen, Jason Davis and introduces Josh Danziger.
