The 4th annual Gotham Screen International Film Festival opens October 7 and runs eleven days, centralized at New York's Tribeca Cinemas.

GSIFF aims to unite overlooked foreign and domestic films and New Yorkers, bringing recognition to the films and their emerging talents. The festival's program includes eleven features (including Jean Luc Godard's Cannes entry Film Socialisme, Jennifer Lynch's Bollywood co-production Hiss and the sexually charged drama Meat from the Netherlands' Victor Nieuwenhuijs and Maartje Seygerth) and twelve shorts.
