Check out a new clip from Derek Cianfrance's follow-up to "Blue Valentine," "The Place Beyond the Pines." The film inspired critics' raves from its Toronto debut (including Indiewire and ThePlaylist, who called it a "grand opus"). The first trailer and film stills are also below. There's also a glimpse at footage in the Toronto red carpet video below.

"The Place Beyond the Pines" stars Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes, Rose Byrne and Ben Mendelsohn ("Killing Them Softly," "Animal Kingdom"). Focus grabbed the picture for a March 29, 2013 release.
