Casting Directors THR

The casting director profession has received some very deserved attention and awareness over the past year, from the Academy's decision to give casting directors their own branch (if still no Oscar category), to the HBO documentary "Casting By," to Woody Allen's open letter in support of his longtime casting director Juliet Taylor and her instrumental role in the success of his films.

Now the Hollywood Reporter has posted their hour-long Casting Directors roundtable discussion, with Taylor ("Blue Jasmine"), Ellen Lewis ("The Wolf of Wall Street," "Her"), Patricia DiCerto ("Blue Jasmine"), Laura Rosenthal ("Kill Your Darlings") and Jennifer Euston ("Orange Is the New Black," "Girls"). Watch below.

Great post! Casting director's workshops are really helpful in building acting career of an aspiring actor... Hence to enhance acting skills and chances of getting a break one must attend the Casting Director's workshop... One of my friends who got a break in an ad last year was telling me that how Your Studio Productions team at http://goo.gl/w0KvI helped him in achieving this opportunity. So attending such workshops really helps !
