The late great Carl Sagan used to wax on about "billions and billions of stars." Well check out this video of Hubble's probe of deep space galaxies in 3-D:
Ummm ... Tony? NOTHING travels faster than the speed of light in a vacuum. Try reading any modern physics textbook, or for that matter, any well-written popularization. I recommend Victor Stenger's books as a good introduction.
