The Webby Awards are massive (10,000 entries from the U.S. and over 60 countries worldwide) and cover a lot of ground. But it's very cool that Indiewire is the 16th Annual Webby Award Winner in the Movie and Film category.

We beat "The Muppets" and "The Tree of Life"! Editor-in-chief Dana Harris and IW founder Eugene Hernandez deserve much credit, as well as the superb team we work with every day. Harris is practicing her five-word acceptance speech.

The awards will be hosted by Patton Oswalt on May 21 at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom and will be streamed live in HD at Webbyawards.com, with an afterparty at the Edison Ballroom.
