Hot off rave reviews and Oscar buzz for her scenery-chewing performance in David O. Russell's "American Hustle," and the $370-million-plus box office take of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," Jennifer Lawrence has just been crowned Entertainer of the Year by the Associated Press.

In this annual survey taken by AP's newspaper and broadcast members and subscribers, Lawrence edged out pop music enfant terrible Miley Cyrus by a margin of one vote. Netflix, on the heels of a banner year for original series, came in at a close third.

Among Lawrence's defining moments in 2013, aside from her impromptu onscreen kiss with costar Amy Adams in "Hustle," include her memorable take on female body image, casting in Gary Ross' "East of Eden," her go-for-broke pixie cut and an "emotional" Entertainment Weekly interview. And then there was that daring sheer purple Dior dress worn at the LA premiere of "Catching Fire."

Her performance in Russell's film will likely bring her another Oscar nomination in 2014. She won Best Actress -- and the love of millions -- for her performance in his "Silver Linings Playbook" at the 85th Academy Awards.

In a recent Conan O'Brien interview, Lawrence -- always known for her on-air candor -- cracked about a "copious amount of butt plugs" given to her as a gift, only to be discovered by her hotel maid. Check out that video, among other clips, including her memorable Jon Stewart appearance, below. Also check out our TOH! interview with "Catching Fire" costume designer Trish Summerville here.
