Add "SNL host" to Lena Dunham's long list of accomplishments. The "Girls" creator and star is set to host the show on March 8.

The musical guest for the night will be band The National, also appearing on SNL for the first time.

Dunham recently sat down with Grantland's Bill Simmons to talk pop culture everything; check that out here. Meanwhile, earlier in the month she debuted the cover to her new book (yes, the one for which she received the whopping $3.7 million advance), a tongue-in-cheek advice tome "Not That Kind of Girl," which has its street date in October.

"Girls" got renewed for a fourth season back in January.
