Media Watch: Los Angeles Times Makes Changes at Calendar, Business

The Los Angeles Times has named veteran LAT business editor John Corrigan as Assistant Managing Editor for Arts & Entertainment, succeeding Sallie Hofmeister, while ex-LA Weekly and Slake editor Laurie Ochoa returns to the LAT as A&E Editor, joining her husband Jonathan Gold, who recently joined the LAT as restaurant critic.

In an internal email from editor Davan Maharaj wrote: "Today, I'm announcing a new leadership team for one of the most important journalistic franchises at the Los Angeles Times."

TV critic and author Mary McNamara will be senior culture editor.
