Media Watch: Record-Breaking Ticket Sales and Mobile Usage for Fandango

If you need proof of changing ticket-buying habits, look at Fandango's numbers. The leading ticket-purchasing site boasted its highest numbers in traffic and ticket sales for May in the company's twelve year history. Ticket sales increased by 47%.

If you need proof of changing ticket-buying habits, look at Fandango's numbers. The leading digital ticket-purchasing site boasted its highest numbers in traffic and ticket sales for May in the company's twelve year history. Ticket sales increased by 47%. The percentage of customers using mobile phones also topped out with a 28% increase. Fandango sells tickets to nearly 20,000 screens nationwide.

A few weeks ago, Fandango struck partnerships with Yahoo! and AOL’s Moviefone to become the sole movie ticketing provider for both sites.
