Michael Douglas, 65, has been diagnosed with a tumor in his throat, reports People Magazine. The veteran actor will undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. We wish him the best.
His new film, Oliver Stone's Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, in which he clearly relishes reprising his Oscar-winning role as Gordon Gekko, opens September 24 after debuting out-of-competition at Cannes. Pressman: "They had long decided that this was a mainstream commercial movie and therefore aside from Cannes not to take festival route."
