At the Awards concert, composer James Newton Howard's work will be celebrated and performed by the Brussells Philharmonic with accompanying film clips. Howard (whose work includes "Snow White and the Huntsman," "The Hunger Games," "The Sixth Sense" and "Pretty Woman") and Dirk Brossé will conduct. Composer Pino Donaggio ("Carrie," "Home Movies," "Dressed To Kill," "Blow Out," "Body Double" and "Raising Cain") will also receive a Lifetime Achievement award at the event.
Yet to be announced are the five nominees for Discovery of the Year 2012; they will be named at the end of August. Music fans can vote for Best Soundtrack of the year here.
