Paul Rudd might join Tina Fey in Focus Features' upcoming collegiate comedy "Admission."  The impish actor would add a light-hearted dash to Tina Fey's signature wry style.  Owen Wilson was previously considered for the role, but the LA Times reports that it is more likely that Rudd will co-star.  The pair could be wittily awkward gold.

Karen Croner, the author of 1998's "One True Thing" is adapting Jean Hanff Korelitz's satisfying novel about an accomplished college admissions officer who is unsettled by the return of a charming former classmate and misfit wunderkind.

Paul Weitz ("American Pie" and "About a Boy," a Focus release) will direct.
