Vintage 'Bond' Posters, Most Comprehensive Collection to Be Auctioned Off in Los Angeles

Joe Maddalena's Profiles in History will be auctioning the most comprehensive collection of vintage James Bond movie posters ever to reach the market at L.A.'s Hollywood Auction on December 15 and 16. Included in the mouth-watering collection are gorgeous UK originals of the posters for "Dr. No," "From Russia with Love" and "Thunderball."

Every title in the 23-film franchise is represented in the collection, with a vast range of regular-release posters, stills and other ephemera (such as lobby cards, scripts and pressbooks) for each film.

Exceptionally rare posters will be up for auction as well, including the very first "Dr. No" poster to appear in public, and the "From Russia with Love" original world premiere artwork from 1963, which is expected to bring in between $10K and $15K from the lucky 007-fanatical bidder with money to burn. The entire collection is estimated at more than $200K.
