SCREEN TALK EPISODE 3: 'Transformers' vs. 'Snowpiercer,' the State of Hollywood & More Finke

Indiewire's New York critic Eric Kohn and I hit Skype again to debate movies and the state of Hollywood. Does "Transformers" represent what's wrong with the movie industry today?

As for what's right, we both like new movies from the Weinstein Co. this weekend.  John Carney's "Begin Again" is a genuine music movie that doesn't fall into romantic comedy tropes, while Eric gushes over "Snowpiercer" (again). He wants the Weinsteins and Bong Joon-ho to give Paramount and Michael Bay a run for their money. Don't you?

Huge fan of Oscar Talk and thrilled to have Screen Talk here. Love the dynamic between you both, and looking forward to hearing you get into the nitty gritty of Awards Season in a few months.

I was an avid listener of Oscar Talk (and am a Anne Thompson fan!) and thus far I'm really enjoying Screen Talk. Keep up the great conversation.

Why is this not available on iTunes yet? What's wrong with you people? Don't you want to make it convenient and flexible for people to listen to?

Hi John! Thanks for interest. We've submitted the podcast to iTunes so as soon as it's officially approved you'll see it there -- hopefully by next week. Stay tuned!
