Tilda Swinton in "Snowpiercer."

The 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival will open with Bong Joon-ho’s “Snowpiercer” on June 11. It will be the film's North American premiere. No word yet on who from the film will be in attendance. (Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Song Kang-ho, Ko Ah-sung, John Hurt, Ed Harris, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Luke Pasqualino and Allison Pill make up the sprawling cast.)

The downtown LA-based fest is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, running from June 11 through 19, set to screen a slate of nearly 200 films.

Our TOH! review of the international cut of “Snowpiercer” is here. The film’s release is June 27, via RADiUS-TWC.
