Daniel Radcliffe is having a go at a Dave Eggers' adaptation, "You Shall Know Our Velocity." Radcliffe will star as the the bookish Will, opposite a yet uncast co-lead to play Will's more gregarious and skirt-chasing buddy Hand, who embark on worldwide excursion to give the $32,000 insurance fallout from their friend's death to those in dire need.

Glenn Close Set to Star as 'The Wife' in Meg Wolitzer Adaptation

Glenn Close is set to star in the upcoming adaptation of bestseller "The Wife," by Meg Wolitzer ("The Interestings"). We haven't seen Close on the big screen since 2011's "Albert Nobbs," but 2014 is shaping up to be a prolific year for her with four films completed, one to shoot, and now this recent signing to the Wolitzer project.

Cannes: Chiwetel Ejiofor and Gwyneth Paltrow Set for 'Secret in Their Eyes' Remake

Director Billy Ray ("Shattered Glass") has had a remake of Argentina's Oscar winner thriller "The Secret in Their Eyes" in the works for a few years, set up and then languishing at Warner Bros., and now rejuvenated at IM Global, who's set to shop the film at the Cannes market. And they've got a tantalizing cast in place: Chiwetel Ejiofor and Gwyneth Paltrow.
