Casting Watch: Damian Lewis In Talks to Star as Henry VIII in 'Wolf Hall'

Now that Damian Lewis is Nick Brody no more, the former "Homeland" star is heading to "Wolf Hall." The PBS-BBC drama is a six-part TV adaptation of Hilary Mantel's novels, "Wolf Hall" and "Bring Up the Bodies." Lewis is in talks to star as Henry VIII.

Yuck: Belgian Professors Find Library Copy of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Tests Positive for Traces of Herpes, Cocaine UPDATED

UPDATE: Two Belgian academics recently decided to do toxicology tests on the 10 most borrowed books from the local Antwerp library. Turns out, all 10 books tested positive for traces of cocaine; plus, E.L. James' "Fifty Shades of Grey" tested positive for the herpes virus. Yuck.

Amy Hobby and Anne Hubbell’s female-centric banner Tangerine Entertainment works hard to put women’s pictures front and center. They’re currently exec producing “The Erotic Fire of the Unattainable,” with Harry Hamlin (“Mad Men”) and Finnish superstar Irina Bjorklund (“The American”) set to star, and with Courtney Andrialis and Suzy Franczak Davis on board as the film's main producers.

Casting Watch: Emile Hirsch to Play John Belushi in Upcoming Biopic

Emile Hirsch has landed the role of John Belushi in an untitled biopic, to be directed by Steve Conrad (screenwriter of "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"). Conrad is helming from his own script, based on the 2005 biography of Belushi by Judy Belushi Pisano and Tanner Colby.

In the Works: Michael Fassbender Starring In and Producing Western 'Slow West,' Now Filming in New Zealand

Details have been revealed for a film, currently in production, starring and produced by Michael Fassbender. It is the actor's first film as a producer. "Slow West," a Western helmed by feature newcomer John Maclean, also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Caren Postorius, and is shooting in New Zealand and Scotland.

David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' Set for October 2014 Release UPDATED

UPDATE: David Fincher's big-screen adaptation of Gillian Flynn's mystery thriller "Gone Girl," starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, has settled on a release date. It's slated for October 3, 2014. This is the same weekend Fincher's Oscar-winning "The Social Network" (for Adapted Screenplay, Editing and Original Score) hit theaters in 2010.
