Anne Hathaway's Three Awkward Confessions to Chelsea Handler, Needs Catwoman, New PR Strategy

No such thing as bad press? Anne Hathaway needs her Selina Kyle character in The Dark Knight Rises to rescue her after the triple-fail of Love and Other Drugs, hosting the Oscars with James I'd-Rather-Be-In-Class Franco and One Day, which is currently struggling to make back half its budget. She takes some pretty pictures, but might want to meditate on the mantra "less in more." She's better than her recent exposure suggests. It's doubtful that her recent rap on Conan (below) did her much good, either. Chelsea Handler interviews her for Interview Magazine:

See Jane Age: Fonda Talks Body Love, Aging, Men & More in Harper's Bazaar

September's issue of Harpar's Bazaar features Jane Fonda, who at 73 continues to figure herself out and reflect on her life. On her struggles with body image, she recalls being brought up in the 1950s:“I was taught by my father that how I looked was all that mattered, frankly. He was a good man, and I was mad for him, but he sent messages to me that fathers should not send: Unless you look perfect, you’re not going to be loved.”

This is What Money Looks Like: Hollywood's Highest Paid Actresses...Is There A Magic Formula?

This is What Money Looks Like: Hollywood's Highest Paid Actresses...Is There A Magic Formula?
Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker lead the pack of women racking in the dough Hollywood-style. Gender-transcending movie star Jolie is no surprise (she would easily double her earnings if she said yes to every project she was offered), while Parker's success is due mostly to the Sex and the City franchise and her perfume line. The rest of the top ten: Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon at $28 million each, Julia Roberts and Kristen Stewart at $20 million, Katherine Heigl ($19 million), Cameron Diaz ($18 million), Sandra Bullock ($15 million) and Meryl Streep ($10 million).

Five Things We Learn from Esquire on Daniel Craig: Dragon Tattoo Violence, Tintin Leotard

Esquire learned many things from Daniel Craig, much more than his favorite word being "fuck" and his blue eyes being money-makers. The British star has several anticipated movies due in theaters and in the works and plenty to talk about: Cowboys & Aliens (trailer below, July 29), Dream House (September 30), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (teaser below, December 21), The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn (December 23) and Bond 23 (2012). (At the time of the interview, Craig's Dream House co-star Rachel Weisz was his girlfriend, not yet his wife.)

Franco Nero Talks Meeting Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained

Franco Nero was in London recently for the three-day cult film festival Cine-Excess. Matt Mueller reports:While in town, Franco Nero headed over to the Italian Cultural Institute to be bestowed along with wife Vanessa Redgrave with honorary degrees from Brunel University. Decked out in graduation gowns and caps, Nero answered a few questions about his career and, in particular, the enduring popularity of Sergio Corbucci’s spaghetti western Django and his title role as the coffin-dragging gunslinger. “It never dies,” said Nero. “I just got back from shooting a movie in Brazil and everybody was, ‘Django! Django!’ the whole time.”

Conan O'Brien Adds Acting to His Sizzling Summer Sked

As Conan O’Brien promos his well-reviewed Can't Stop doc (and bathes in the glow of his widely viewed Dartmouth commencement address), the funny cable talk show host is set to add acting to his resume. Well, not exactly. He's going to play a lowly extra on comedy TV series How I Met Your Mother. Why? He won the walk-on role at a charity event. Rather than perform a showy celebrity cameo, O’Brien, who is 6' 4" says: “I think it's much funnier if I'm just in the bar, in the background."
