Santa Barbara Film Fest Finds a Star in Alex Beh, Writer/Director and Leading Man of 'Warren'

Alex Beh's indie rom-com "Warren" is the kind of indie festival darling that you can tell, almost immediately, has legs. Set in and around the improv comedy scene in Chicago, the film follows its ambling title character (played by writer/director Beh), a late-20something comedian who moonlights as a barista. I sat down with Beh at the Santa Barbara Film Festival to talk about the film.

Eight Great Quotes from Cate Blanchett at the Santa Barbara Film Festival (CLIPS)

"Blue Jasmine" hit theaters back in July 2013 which, by this awards-packed winter 2014, feels like ages ago. Writer-director Woody Allen ostensibly penned the title role of Jasmine French with Cate Blanchett in mind. Nine Things I Learned at the Hilarious Santa Barbara Film Fest Tribute to David O. Russell (VIDEO)

At the upbeat Santa Barbara International Film Festival best director tribute to David O. Russell, the Oscar-nominated man behind "American Hustle" and "Silver Linings Playbook" (who infamously called Lily Tomlin the c-word to her face in 2004) had us all in stitches.
