Sundance London Film and Music Festival Will Return in 2013 & 2014

Sundance Institute Chooses Six Projects for 2nd Edition of New Frontier Story Lab

Six projects have been chosen for Sundance's New Frontier Story Lab, taking place at the Sundance Resort October 21-26. The lab, inspired by the Sundance Film Festival and structured after the Institutute's Lab model, aims to support "projects that use technology to deepen story and engage audiences."

Sundance Names Paul Federbush International Director of Feature Films

The Sundance Institute has named indie vet Paul Federbush the International Director of the Feature Film Program, which discovers and supports filmmakers year-round. Beginning September 24, Federbush will work under the program's founding director, Michelle Satter, and will oversee all international activities of the program.

Annenberg Foundation Awards Sundance Institute $1 Million Grant

The Sundance Institute has been awarded a $1 million, three-year grant from the Annenberg Foundation, which will provide support for the Institute's year-round creative and tactical programs for independent film artists. The Annenberg's past support of the Institute, the Film Fellows Program from 2004-2011, helped support projects such as Sean Durkin's "Martha Marcy May Marlene," Dee Rees' "Pariah" and Behn Zeitlin's "Beasts of the Southern Wild."

Sundance Institute Adds 10 Titles to Artists Services Program, Fellows Self-Distribute Online

The Sundance Institute announces today that 10 additional titles are now available on the Artists Services access to distribution program, which makes films from previous Sundance festivals available for rent, download and streaming on various digital platforms and storefronts (iTunes, Amazon, SundanceNOW, YouTube, etc).

Sundance Institute Hosts Summer Producing Summit, Names First Bingham Ray Producing Fellow

The Sundance Institute puts on a producing summit and creative labs every year at Robert Redford's ski resort that many indies look forward to as a working summer camp in the glorious Rocky Mountains.
