Trailer Watch: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1; Bella and Edward Get Married UPDATED

The MTV Movie Awards Sunday night glorified golden couple Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart--with not just an award for "Best Kiss," but many more, for their last Twilight installment, Eclipse. Twilight scored five out of twelve awards, with Rob Pattinson beating The Social Network's Jesse Eisenberg for best actor--even if I happily belong to Team Edward, that's absurd. So is Kristen Stewart beating best actress Oscar-winner Natalie Portman. Please. Here's a red carpet gallery. Full list of winners below.

Weekend Preview: X-Men Lands with Naked Mystique, Indies Beginners and Submarine Are Must-Sees

It's a weekend of stellar and star-packed openings, with well-reviewed X-Men: First Class opening (finally fanboys get a glimpse at naked Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, picture below), along with buzzing indies Beginners, Submarine and Beautiful Boy. While Christopher Plummer and Ewan McGregor shine in Mike Mills' Beginners, and in rookie Richard Ayoade's Submarine the "excruciating and the hilarious mingle nearly to perfection, Shawn Ku's Beautiful Boy throws a pity party. Stars Maria Bello and Michael Sheen give as much as they can, but their audience will be severely limited by this grief-stricken drama that labors more than it elevates.

Cannes Restless Reaction: Managing Expectations for Van Sant Tweener, Silent Version on DVD
Sony knew that Gus Van Sant's Restless was a tweener. It's neither an art film that plays for highbrow critics looking for discovery or depth, nor a mainstream entertainment aimed at teens. The movie is what it is: a sweet unpretentious coming-of-age love story that doesn't over-reach.
