Tribeca Adds Free Film Festival Events: Outdoor Screenings of 'The Birds,' 'Beetlejuice' and 'Lil Bub and Friendz'

The Tribeca Film Festival (April 17-28) has announced its lineup of free community events, including the fest's signature Tribeca Drive-In, this year featuring screenings of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds," Tim Burton's "Beetlejuice" and the premiere of viral kitty video film "Lil Bub and Friendz." The Tribeca Film Institute’s first-ever artist program – Tribeca All Access -- is celebrating its 10th Annual program with 11 new projects (highlighted below) and a TAA Celebration on April 26, during the Tribeca Film Festival. A total of $150,000 in grants will be awarded to filmmakers.
