TV IS THE NEW CINEMA: Crime Pays (VIDEO)

Look at almost anybody's list of TV's best and most durable recent dramas and, a large percentage of them, from "The Wire" to "Breaking Bad, are likely to be crime dramas. That means different things on different shows: "The Killing" plays by the rules of a procedural whodunit, while "Breaking Bad" follows the trajectory of classic noir as defined, if memory serves, by novelist Megan Abbott: "Starts bad, gets worse."

'Now You See Me' Star Jesse Eisenberg vs. Romina Puga: "You are the Carrot Top of interviewers" (VIDEO)

In one of the best parodies of "Game of Thrones" yet, Jimmy Fallon premiered "Game of Desks" on Late Night. With an impressive production level, Fallon used the fantastical HBO series to riff on the late night talk show battles. Fallon plays a Ned Stark type, as well as a flaxen-haired Daenerys.

Rock Center: Brian Williams Grills The Emanuel Brothers (VIDEO)

Brian Williams digs into the three remarkable Emanuel brothers who grew up outside of Chicago. WME chief Ari Emanuel was the model for Ari Gold on "Entourage."
