On another roll this year, Michael Fassbender reunites with Ridley Scott in "The Counselor." In 2012, the pair worked together on Scott's "Alien" prequel of sorts, "Prometheus." Here, we're in full-on neo-noir thriller mode as Fassbender's character, a lawyer, finds himself in over his head in the local drug trade.

In this clip, check out Fassbender and Javier Bardem, bedecked with spiky hair and a spray tan (how his "Skyfall" character might have looked in another life, perhaps). It's unclear what exactly is going on here, but it's definitely stressful for all involved.

Written by novelist Cormac McCarthy, the film costars Cameron Diaz, Brad Pitt and Penelope Cruz. It hits theaters October 25 via Fox. Watch the trailer here, and clip below.
