Woody Allen in "Fading Gigolo"

Millennium Entertainment has snapped up US rights to John Turturro's comedy that he wrote, directed and stars in, "Fading Gigolo." Turturro plays a hapless middle-aged man trying out his luck as a male prostitute, while Woody Allen (!) is his bookseller-turned-pimp. Vanessa Paradis, Sharon Stone, Liev Schreiber and Sofia Vergara also star.

The film recently debuted at Toronto; the Hollywood Reporter deemed it "an odd, sometimes funny, other times touching, always modest look at a strange bunch of New Yorkers."

No word yet on a release date; check out the trailer here.
