John Hillcoat's "Lawless"
The trailer for John Hillcoat's prohibition-set "Lawless" -- set to premiere in competition at Cannes -- has arrived. Nick Cave wrote the screenplay, an adaptation of Matt Bondurant's novel, "The Wettest County in the World." The star-studded cast of Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Gary Oldman, Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain and Guy Pearce does a fine job whetting our appetite. Watch below:
It does look great. Why do we have to wait until August for it to be released? Looks like a intresting chemistry of great actors. Finally we will get to see Tom Hardy without a mask covering the emotions this great actor can cover.... from a simple head nod to the depth he can display in his facial and eye expressions. Something I have not seen since the death of the GREAT Edward G. Robinson.. Tom has a Ton of talent. Even though its far away I cannot wait to seee how he plays Al Capone if "Cicero" is ever made.
