A third trailer has arrived for Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained," equally epic as the first two and more dramatically inclined, with a bleak opening sequence (yes, we now live in an age where trailers have opening sequences) and a sweeping score.

The trailer's second half perks up a bit, with more badass line delivery from Django (Jamie Foxx), more Southern purring from Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), and a first glimpse of Jonah Hill whipping off a Klansman hood.

"Django Unchained" releases on December 25. Check out our Oscar speculations for the film here, and the first trailer here.
