The trailer for "Taken 2" has dropped, and Liam Neeson's Bryan Mills must shoot his badass way through the retrieval of yet another kidnapped family member. This time it's his ex-wife (Famke Jannsen) who, along with Mills, is taken hostage by an ominous Albanian seeking revenge for his son's death.

Though the trailer for "Taken 2" seems to match up ludicrously literally with the film's title (someone gets taken! a second time!), Neeson is likeable enough that we'll forgive him. He starred with unshirking excellence in Joe Carnahan's brilliant, relentlessly brutal "The Grey" in January, so he gets a pass for the rest of 2012.
