Check out the second trailer for Gore Verbinski's "The Lone Ranger," starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer as the fabled Tonto and Ranger. The film, which has been beset with budget cuts, delays and a ballooning 150-day shoot, looks to have Verbinski's signature kooky visual style (echoing the gorgeous desertscape of "Rango") fully intact, with Depp and Hammer showing some promising comedic chemistry.

The trailer reveals the origin story of the Lone Ranger and Tonto's friendship, complete with seven graves, a birds' nest structure atop a perilously high cliff, and "a very wrong" horse.

"The Lone Ranger" hits theaters on July 3, 2013.
