Tommy Lee Jones in "Emperor"

Check out the new trailer for Peter Webber's "Emperor," starring "Lincoln" Oscar nominee Tommy Lee Jones, Matthew Fox and Eriko Hatsune. The film centers on General Douglas MacArthur (Jones), who finds himself suddenly the defacto leader of a nation immediately following Japanese Emperor Hirohito's World War II surrender.

Director Webber previously helmed 2003's "The Girl with the Pearl Earring" and 2007's "Hannibal Rising."

The film is a Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions release; it hits theaters March 8.

What if the author of this news did her homework, at least read the synopsis and watched the trailer??? "Centers on MacArthur"??? Not at all, it centers on Bonner Fellers (Fox) 's story, & it seems an interesting & compelling one that I'm looking forward to see on screen!

Performing work on these characters, only they speak so precisely. Therefore, the director has chosen precisely those actors. Because their skills and knowledge are so great.
With the presence of this cast is so important and it shows in their personalities in their roles. They also create precisely this story that we are in the era of World War II.
In this sense, I want to say that we all know that the personality of the actor assist in creative incarnation. So each playable character by the characters in the movie that we will watch is unique.
We will see one great actor exchange energies. Thanks to the director and his entire creative team who are going through difficulties to create this film. The director with his film will make us much to think about. Experienced in the past emotions awakened by concreteness and detail the specific time, place, circumstances that these actors put into the scenic image.
I think in this film we see the emotions that are born of the circumstances in which it operates scenic images and ideas that passionately defend and inspires us.

I just watched the new trailer for "Emperor" by Peter Webber. Many just created this amazing film creative team. Look at what the cast. Sir Tommy Lee Jones who brings his unique personality. But it works with other unique individuals and it is evidenced by his colleagues. But it works with other unique individuals and it is evidenced by his colleagues. For this and they create very complex and very tense atmosphere. But in this environment we see this unique energy for me in every film frame. Mr. directed so precisely created this storyboard that the viewer has the feeling is there. All points in each term we see each film frame is amazing and here I must thank the operators.
I'll wait for the movie premiere.
