"Miller's Crossing"
"Coen Brothers Week!" continues at Trailers from Hell, today with screenwriter Josh Olson introducing the brothers' brilliant neo-gangster-noir tale of Prohibition-era heavies, featuring a shockingly bad-ass Albert Finney and an elegantly wind-blustered fedora.

The Coen Bros.' stylized hybrid of '30s prohibition gangster sagas and '40s noir films was the Boardwalk Empire of its day. Dashiell Hammett is once again a prime inspiration for the mayhem, which provides Albert Finney and John Turturro with memorable turns.
