Check out this first trailer for fest fave "Locke," starring Tom Hardy as a construction manager who, while on his drive home from work, receives a phone call that sends his life spiraling into crisis.

The film is written and directed by Steven Knight, scribe of "Eastern Promises" and "Dirty Pretty Things." It premiered at Venice last fall, and has since had an impressive festival run, being showcased at the BFI's London Film Festival and Sundance. Ruth Wilson ("Luther"), Tom Holland ("How I Live Now") and Olivia Colman ("Broadchurch") also star.

We haven't seen Hardy on the big screen since 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises"; "Locke" hits theaters April 25, via A24. He's also headlining George Miller's "Mad Max" reboot "Fury Road" in 2015.
