Call me crazy but I really liked Lone ranger and Gore Verbinski, unlike most so called action directors today, really know how to put together an action sequence. He understands the spatial relationships among people and things within the frame. In other words, I know exactly where everyone is and what they're doing to whom instead of the now usual extreme ADD type of pacing and editing where I can't make out what the hell is going on. Like that final airport runway sequence in Fast and Furious 6. Could ANYBODY make out what the hell was going in in the scene?
