Kristen Stewart, who walked L.A.'s AFI FEST red carpet for water Salles' "On the Road" this weekend, is looking at life after "Twilight." She's joining Ben Affleck in "Focus,"  about an experienced con-man and his romantic relationship with a rookie schemer.  Written by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the writers of "Crazy, Stupid, Love," the movie was originally set up as another Ryan Gosling/Emma Stone love story.

- Jude Law joins the cast of "Queen of the Desert" (not to be confused with "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert") alongside Naomi Watts as Gertrude Bell and another "Twilight" alum, Rob Pattinson, as T.E. Lawrence, in Werner Herzog's biopic, which is set to kick off production in Morocco in 2013. The movie follows Bell's life as a writer, archaeologist, explorer, cartographer and political attache for the British Empire. Army officer Lawrence was a close friend of Bell's;  the pair helped to establish the Hashemite dynasties in Jordan and Iraq. Lawrence's writings were brought to life in the 1962 David Lean epic "Lawrence of Arabia" starring Peter O'Toole.

- Expect the unexpected: ardent leftie John Cusack may play Rush Limbaugh in upcoming biopic "Rush."  The conservative talk show radio host and feather-ruffling instigator has more than enough scandals (prescription drug fraud, hollering 'slut' and 'prostitute' at law school students) to sustain an entertaining biopic. Cusack and comedy director Betty Thomas ("Doctor Doolittle,""The Brady Bunch Movie") are currently finishing up the script.

- France is luring filmmakers to shoot films there. New Studios de Paris seeks an edge in the international film market. This studio is part of Cite du Cinema, a $230-million project that transformed a power plant in an industrial Paris suburb into a nine-stage movie studio, film school, and headquarters for one of France's largest television and film producers,  Luc Besson's EuropaCorp.

Cusack is all wrong for Limbaugh. Pick instead from Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Patton Oswalt and Rainn Wilson. I'd go with Rogen myself.
