On the heels of Geoff Boucher's revealing interview with producer Lauren Shuler-Donner and director Bryan Singer, who are reuniting for the next X-Men installment (see the sideways diss of director Brett Ratner), Mike Fleming reports that the Singer traffic jam has been resolved. Fox wants to proceed with X-Men: First Class so quickly that Singer will have to produce it as he directs Jack the Giant Killer for Legendary and Warners.
