Tom Hanks' animated series "Electric City" will premiere on Yahoo! Screen on July 17. Check out the trailer below.

"Electric City" is a 10-episode action-sci-fi-adventure series featuring a voice cast lead by Hanks, plus Jeanne Tripplehorn ("Big Love"), Holland Taylor ("Two and a Half Men") and Ginnifer Goodwin ("Once Upon a Time"), among others. Each episode is between five and seven minutes in length.

Aside from the animation, "Electric City" aims for a fully immersive and interactive experience with a 3-D map of the electric city itself, behind-the-scenes footage of the cast, and games. Yahoo! touts it as the "first-of-its-kind 360 degree online interaction of digital, social, mobile and gaming media."

The show is produced by Playtone and Reliance Entertainment.
