I'm off to Charlotte today to stop off for a few hours and visit the set of my buddy Craig Zobel's film, "Great World of Sound." Oh, to be on a set and to not be responsible for anything at all, to be able to simply wander off into the woods and drop yellow at my own leisure, to watch the madness from afar and not be asked one simple question, to leave when I damn well feel like it... ahh, yes, my friends, these are the days...

Just wanted to make sure you made it back to reality okay. Sorry the experience was so miserable for you. Only time will reveal what is left of this, sort of like an alcoholic marriage. I haven't had a drink, and I'm going to church on Sunday. I have a paying job, where people say "please" and "thank you" and "good morning". And the only reason that doesn't drive me nuts is that I missed it for a little while...
