Um, with my family, that is. Carol has watched it three times and cries harder every time. My sister Karen gave it her full support. Then my brother-in-law stunned me by bawling during Damian's final monologue. I just showed my parents. While they didn't shed tears, they actually appeared to LIKE it. My mom said, "The end got really sad, didn't it?" I know that this is because they birthed me and are finally happy to see me actually make something on this grand a scale, but still, I'm even more excited about this weekend's trip to NYC.
Enough for being a brilliant new voice in American cinema, however. Gotta get to bed in order to wake up early and paint-paint-paint the day away tomorrow...
