MARCH FUCKING MADNESS

img10029340.jpg

While I'm not letting these past two (or should I say six) games go to my head, it sure is nice to feel excited again. And excited I am! Turtle Fucking Nation!

Conference tournaments haven't even begun yet, and I've already got the March Madness shivers. Tonight was spent in a divey Tribeca sports bar, commiserating with good friends while jerking my neck back-and-forth between two brilliant games. I'm sure Dickie V. ordered the technical malfunction at the end of the Maryland/Duke game because he didn't want the world to watch his Dookies get destroyed on their home court once again. Sorry, Dick. Your Dookies suck butt this year.

When the Maryland victory became official, I could finally focus my full attention on the Texas/Texas A&M showdown, which was an absolute classic. Acie Law IV is as clutch a college player as I've ever seen. And as for Kevin Durant, if I had the number one pick in next year's draft, I would choose him over Oden.

It is now officially March 1st, which is fitting, because March Madness has officially arrived. As if SXSW wasn't going to be insane enough with all the cinematic and musical activity, we're now going to have one of the most wide open tourneys in recent memory.

Consider me happy to be alive.

Fear the Turtle!
Gabe (and Dan) Representin' the Maryland Mafia in the ATL.

I saw the game v. Illinois in November and it were amazing. I am a huge fan of anyone with a name as cool as Grievis Vasquez.

its amazing to see the team play with such intensity now. I didn't think they'd have much of a season a couple months ago. but now I fully expect them to win the ACC tourney. lefty's got nothin' on GW.
