Quite Possibly My Favorite Scene Ever
For well over a year now, I've been talking about one very special scene in Phillipe Garrel's REGULAR LOVERS, which to me captures the fading glory of youth better than one thousand pages of dialogue ever could. Good memories of that NYFF afternoon... I need to see that again. May I also suggest L'eau Froide by Olivier Assayas as a darker companion piece?
