Overheard

1am. Saturday night. Outside a deli on 7th Ave. in Park Slope. A guy is about to go inside, but at the last second he stops and turns to his girlfriend, who's waiting outside with her little dog:

Guy: "What genre of food do you want?"

tully, get this: i was recently at my corner deli when a slovenly homeless dude wandered in. the deli guy asked him if he wanted some free food.

homeless guy: no thanks, i'm on a diet.

ah, nyc.

ha!

haha! as in "do you want rap, classical, or country on that?" and you think the south is crazy. lol
