After watching Maryland destroy Duke at 7pm tonight, be sure to flip over to PBS to watch the final two parts of PBS' acclaimed African American Lives 2 (9pm, East Coast). Tonight's first hour (Part 3) is especially exciting as it was directed and produced by none other than my gooder-than-good friend Jesse Sweet. I saw a nearly final cut a few weeks ago with a temp voice-over (you're no Skip Gates, Mr. Sweet), and I found it to be a fascinating and captivating document. This show is a true television event.
