Unable to shake the incorrigible The Happening experience of last Friday night, I have frantically signed up for an emergency Shyamalan Cleansing Seminar in Hawaii. I leave for Kauai tomorrow at 8am and don't return to NYC until June 30th. If kayaking along the Na Pali Coast doesn't restore my faith in humanity, nothing will. (But, wait, what are those dark, blob-like splotches on all that lush greenery? What is that whispering in the wind? Is that... Evil Mother Nature? Is She Here to Unleash... Angry Dangerous Toxins? Is anywhere safe on this planet??? Nooooooo!!!!!!!)

(For the record, if a freak natural disaster does happen to occur, especially while I'm hiking through a particularly leaf-heavy landscape, I will gladly acknowledge the irony and take back anything negative I've ever said or written about Mr. Shyamalan.)
