The Minis Party Is About to Commence
After months of dilly-dallying, the time has come to put our small change where our molars are. In just a few hours, we are hosting the theme party of the weekend. It is all centered around this film:
Yes, we are about to abandon art and succumb to the majestic glory that is the genre of cinema called What Were They Thinking by watching The Minis, in which rebel bad boy Dennis Rodman joins a team of little people in order to help them realize their dreams of basketball championshipdom. Merely watching this thing isn’t good enough, however. In order to make the party complete, the menu consists of nothing but miniature liquids and solids: mini liquor bottles, Coronitas, pony Buds, mini carrots, Munchkins, sliders, pigs-in-a-blanket, mini pretzels, and much, much more. I will hopefully be taking pictures to prove that I am a few weeks away from turning 35 years old and this is how I’ve chosen to spend my Saturday evening.
Holy crap! This is amazing! I had a birthday party once after we saw the Body Worlds exhibit (where they sold dvds of a complete autopsy). So we had a contest where we ate spaghetti while gathered around the dvd player, and saw who could hold out the longest before running out of the room to barf!
