COCAINE ANGEL: New York Theatrical Run Begins Tonight!!!

It's been a long time coming, but the time has finally come. Tonight at 9pm, the never-before-seen final version of COCAINE ANGEL will be unleashed upon the masses of New York City. It's screening at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater on the Lower East Side, and will be showing nightly at 9pm through Tuesday, February 27th.

I'd like to give a special thank you to those of you who have been reading "Boredom at its Boredest" since the CA train began to chug back in early 2005. We've really accomplished more with this film than I ever thought was possible. And for my good friends--I probably have more genuinely good friends than a person should have--thank you for keeping me sane and being so supportive. I know a lot of you have seen the film before, maybe even more than once. But if you can spare another trip to the darkside, I will be eternally grateful.

While I could easily embarrass myself even further by descending into more shameful realms of pleading, or corny depths of reminiscence, I'm too tired to do that right now (I just got back from picking up the masters of SILVER JEW in Silver Spring and have to wake up super early to catch a bus back up to NYC in the morning). Just know that your support means a lot to us. Actually, it means everything.

Thanks again, everyone (especially Ray Privett at the Pioneer Theater and our friends at Indiepix). There couldn't be a better way to gear up for the SILVER JEW festival run (and CA DVD release!) than having this momentous burst of COCAINE ANGEL goodness.

Go here to check out the schedule and pre-buy tickets for whichever show you want to attend (seriously, I think people are already camping out in front of Two Boots--it's like Mardi Gras down there).

I know I said I wouldn't keep linking to references about the film, but I really like this piece at The Reeler. If that won't get you itching to support CA, nothing will.

Good night to all of it.
