He's done it again. He's gone and made a film that makes me tingle with jealousy and delight. Not that I've seen it, but the mere premise is so daring and brilliant that I know it's going to be another original masterwork.
"Wonderland," "In This World," "Jude," "Welcome to Sarajevo," "24 Hour Party People," "The Claim," he's one of the few directors who is an auteur but doesn't leave his imprint on the films he makes (like Altman or Lynch or pretty much anyone else). This is a gifted, gifted man.
