Farewell Sweet Stanza (From ALL THE REAL GIRLS)

By now, everyone should know the connection between the Homestar Runner gang and David Gordon Green. On All the Real Girls, that connection was all the way intertwined, as Mike Chapman worked on the film as a graphic designer, Matt Chapman appeared in a scene at the riverside (he's credited as "Strong Bad"), and co-creator Craig Zobel (Great World of Sound) was a Unit Production Manager (alongside Sophia Lin).

For some reason, I never knew that Matt had bought the production's beloved Stanza. Turns out, Matt finally decided to get rid of it, donating it to NPR in 2009. This is his ode to that special moment in time. While it might just look like any old car to most of you, for those of you who were genuinely moved by All the Real Girls, and especially for those of us who worked on it, this is an especially fond farewell.
