So far, so good, my friends. Tonight's screening is already sold out. What? What's so funny? Stop laughing.

Haven't heard word yet about last night's press/industry screening. I just really hope people know what they're getting into. With a more grounded level of anticipation, I think we'll be fine. But if anyone actually thinks they're getting into a power chord of a punk rock riff, they're gonna be disappointed by our minor-key piano piece. But that's out of my hands at this point.

In about thirty minutes, Damian and I are giving our first television interview, for Belgium television no less. What? What's so funny? Actually, you can laugh. I think it's hilarious myself. Then again, they probably hadn't seen the film yet. Now that they potentially have, they might want to cancel the appointment.

My bestest buddy Josh Levine should be arriving within a few hours. Amen for that. At 4:30, I'm gonna check out the "Shades of Black" shorts program, which features "The Aluminum Fowl" by Nashville's own James Clauer. He just jetted here from Sundance. Hotshot. Fortunately, he's a nice guy and his film is a special little mood piece, so I hope even bigger things happen for him.

I'll do my typical film reviewing at the end of the fest, or later this week, when I get a chance to see some films. That's as big of a priority as any for me, at this point.

The festival staff is impossibly great. I can't believe we're actually here. Hope we don't disappoint everyone. More to come...
